There are two types of animation I create for use on the web - flash animation and animated gifs.

Flash animation

A flash animation is an animated film which is created using Adobe Flash or similar animation software and exported in the .swf file format. Millions of websites use flash animation today to provide visual interest and interactivity.

Flash animations are created using bitmaps, audio files, vector-based drawings and video which are capable of being exported at much smaller files sizes than animated gifs. This means I am able to create much more complex animations and integrate high quality images with a relatively low loading time (depending upon the users internet connection speed / bandwidth).

Animated Gifs

Animated gifs are best used when you require a basic animation with a fast loading time. Most advertising / affiliate websites require you to supply animated banners in animated gif small format for this reason.

Price

All animation work is charged at £45 per hour (I minute my time so you only pay for the time I spend animating).
